The building will be open for inspection on the following two dates/times: Saturday, May 1st from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and Tuesday, May 4th from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

In submitting a bid, the Buyer acknowledges purchasing the building "as is" and "where is" and assumes responsibility for all costs associated with the building purchase and removal (with removal to be completed by no later than 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 22, 2021). After this deadline, the Buyer loses all ownership rights to the entire building and ownership reverts back to Blackhawk Technical College. The Buyer is responsible for acquiring all necessary permits and licenses as may be applicable for the method of building relocation chosen by buyer.

This sale is subject to Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) President approval.  (4). There is an 18% buyer’s fee added to the final sale price of this lot. There is no cash discount. Once the sale has been approved, the winning bidder will be notified. Full payment for the invoice and a thousand-dollar ($1,000.00) deposit will be required within 24 hours from the winning bidder once notified. Payment for the invoice and deposit must be made in cash. Payment is to be made at Beloit Auction - 534 W. Grand Avenue, Beloit, WI. Removal of the building cannot begin until the payment for the invoice and deposit has been made in full. The deposit will be returned in full only if the entire building has been completely removed from the concrete slab it sits on by 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 22, 2021.  (5.) Failure to make full payment for the deposit and invoice will result in the loss of all future bidding privileges.  (6.) This building is located on the campus of Blackhawk Technical College, 6004 S County Rd G, Janesville, WI 53546 (see pictures for exact location on campus). The online auction of this building will start to close at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.  (7.) In submitting a bid, the Buyer acknowledges purchasing the building "as is" and "where is" and assumes responsibility for all costs associated with the building purchase and removal (with removal to be completed by no later than 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 22, 2021). After this deadline, the Buyer loses all ownership rights to the entire building and ownership reverts back to Blackhawk Technical College. The Buyer is responsible for acquiring all necessary permits and licenses as may be applicable for the method of building relocation chosen by buyer. (8.) The Buyer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless BTC, its governing board, officers, faculty, employees and agents (including Beloit Auction Service) from and against any and all liabilities, claims, losses, lawsuits, judgments, and/or expenses including attorney fees, arising, either directly or indirectly, from the sale and removal of this building. The Buyer will sign paperwork acknowledging this indemnification when they make payment and prior to their removal of this building. (9.) If you have questions on this auction, call before placing a bid. (10.) Beloit Auction will not be held responsible for any inconsistencies in description announced or printed, therefore buyers are responsible for inspecting this building and deciding for themselves if the building they have seen is what they want to buy. (11.) According to Federal Uniform Commercial Code (UCC 2-238) At the closing of each auction item there is a legal binding contract for the purchase of the item.  (12.) Beloit Auction staff reserve the right to bid on and purchase this lot. (13.) All our online only auctions are conducted using staggered closing times. That means every minute a select number of lots will close. The closing of an item means it is a scheduled time that bidding should end on that lot. (14.) All our online only auctions are conducted using a soft close. This means even if an item is scheduled to close at a particular time, if someone places a bid in the last two minutes, two minutes will be added to the scheduled close time for that particular lot. The time extension will continue to occur every time a bid is placed until there are at least two minutes with no additional bids. (15.) The Auctioneer cannot, and will not be, held responsible for any interruption in service, errors, and/or omissions, caused by any means and does not guarantee continual, uninterrupted or error free service or use of the Site. Bidder acknowledges that this auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. The Auctioneer, in their sole discretion, may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any item/lots that were affected by any malfunction. The decision of the Auctioneer is final.
