Worlds Largest Angel Collection Seeks Buyer Before Auction

By Meghan M.M. Trimm

The Guinness Record-holding Angel Museum is Celebrating 20 Years & Saying Farewell.

The Angel Museum is seeking a buyer for the collection prior to their farewell event. Anyone interested in buying the complete collection is encouraged to contact Beloit Auction & Realty prior to October 11. If a buyer does not come forward at this time, the collection will open for auction from October 13 – 23rd, giving everyone a chance to own a piece of this world-renowned collection.

The angels have been recognized by the Guinness Book as the largest assemblage in the world. With over 10,000 angels, donated by the Berg Family, a famous television host, and families across the world, the Angel Museum has stood for 20 years as a beacon of ‘what is joyful, noble and good in this life.’

If you’re going to miss the museum, don’t fret. The ‘Angel Museum: A 20 Year Celebration & Farewell’ event is open to the public and will coincide with the end-time of the Downtown Beloit Association’s Wine Walk on October 13th from 5-7 PM. Visitors are welcome to view the angels for the last time and celebrate the history of the Angel Museum. Wine and refreshments will be served.
